Davidoff has set October 2021 for the release of a new, small batch cigar, the Siete Oscuro.
The Siete Oscuro cigar was created by Davidoff’s Master Blender as a gift to himself and his friends for his 60th birthday. The name takes reference to the blend of seven (Siete) tobaccos that is crowned by a da
rk (Oscuro) shade grown wrapper leaf.
Davidoff’s Master Blender was inspired by the autumn season with its obscure days and long nights when one finds comfort in more flavorful, sweeter cigars.
The dark, medium-bodied Toro cigar is charming with pronounced sweet nougat notes, deep coffee aromas and compelling leathery flavour. The exceptional combination aromas is supported by the vintage heritage: crafted in 2016 this small batch has rested and aged for five years prior to its release in the fall of 2021.
Siete Oscuro 2021 is a 6 x 52 toro with a Dominican wrapper and Mexican Negro San Andres Seco binder. It contains five different filler tobaccos including: Dominican Yamasa Visus, Dominican Piloto Visus, Nicaraguan Esteli Visus, Dominican Hybrid T2 Visus and Dominican San Vicente Mejorado Ligero. Siete Oscuro will be available in bundles of 10 for $320.
