Gurkha Cigar Group International, in conjunction with long time retail partner Smoker Friendly, pre-released the Gurkha Pure Evil at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival.
In its’ 13th year of operation, the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival took place in Broomfield, Colorado. As usual, Gurkha Cigars provided top sponsorship levels at the event giving away travel humidors to the VIP guests as well as SWAG and promotional items with purchase during the festival.
In addition, Gurkha was able to get a pre-release of the Gurkha Pure Evil shipped directly from the factory to show-site, in order to provide the cigars to the attendees. “We can’t wait to share the Pure Evil with the masses,” declared Juan Lopez, Vice President of Gurkha Cigars. “In just 30 minutes of opening the gates at Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival, the cigar sold out! It’s coming mainstream very soon and I’m looking forward to sharing the cigar with consumers across the country during my travels this fall.”
Pure Evil was released at the PCA Show this summer in Las Vegas. Blended by Damian Tapanes in his factory, American Caribbean Cigars, the Pure Evil boasts a full flavor, full body cigar with a Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler. Pure Evil was released in boxes of 20 count cigars and parejo in shape. The Pure Evil can be found in Robusto, 5×52; Toro, 6×54; and XO, 6×60 vitolas and is a re-release to a brand the company discontinued about 15 years ago. Originally set to hit retailers’ shelves by the end of September, the cigar has had a few weeks delay for full production to ship from Nicaragua.
