Joya de Nicaragua announce the Clasico Medio Siglo that will replace the original Clasico, which has been renamed the Clasico Original.
The original Clasico was created in 1968 and helped pioneer the cigar industry in Nicaragua. The cigar was also a favorite of world leaders and the official of the White House in the 1970s.The Clasico was Nicaragua’s first premium, long-filler cigar made in Nicaragua’s first factory.
The new Clasico Medio Siglo is an homage to the thousands of cigar lovers who enjoy the true Clasico style. It commemorates that original White House cigar and marks more than fifty years of production.
“The Clasico is where itall started,” said Juan Martinez, Executive President of Joya de Nicaragua.
The cigar is wrapped in a colorado-colored Habano Criollo leaf, with Nicaraguan fillers and binders. This medium-bodied smoke is available as a 6 x 50 Toro, 6 x 41 No.6, 5 ½ x 42 Seleccion B and a 5 x 50 Robusto.
