Alec Bradley’s Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole and Filthy Hooligan Shamrock will return for 2022. These limited edition cigars are now available for stores to pre-order for next Spring.
2022 marks the 10th release of the Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole and the 4th release of the Filthy Hooligan Shamrock. The barber pole appearance is created by rolling with at least two different, alternating wrappers with a contrast in their color.
“Hooligans have become a perpetual conversation piece for the cigar community. Anticipation is built up by our brand advocates year over year, ahead of a release. Because of that, more smokers are finding the opportunity to experience the unique flavor characteristics that candela tobacco can bring to a blend,” said Alan Rubin, Founder, Alec Bradley.
In this case, the Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole uses a bright green candela wrapper with a darker Nicaraguan one. The 6 x 50 toro is limited to 2000 boxes of 24 and will sell for $11.15 a cigar. While sharing the same Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Panamanian and Honduran filler blend, the Filthy Hooligan Shamrock comes with 3 wrappers: a green candela, natural Nicaraguan Habano and a dark Nicaraguan Habano maduro. The Shamrock is 6 x 50 toro and limited to 1500 boxes of 10 and will sell at $13.25 a cigar.
