Forged Cigar Co. ships to retailers Diesel’s new limited edition Sunday Gravy San Marzano cigar.
The Sunday Gravy San Marzano is the first cigar in a new series of seasonally released and affordable cigars featuring Nicaraguan tobacco. A second blend in the line will be released in October 2021.
“When I first started working with AJ Fernadez and even to this day, I’m impressed by his method of making cigars. He ferments and ages his tobacco meticulously to achieve the taste he wants. His process actually reminds me of my mom and how she cooked her Sunday sauce slowly over a low flame, knowing she had the luxury of being able to cook all day on a Sunday to get it just right,” said Diesel Senior Brand Manager Justin Andrews.
Diesel Sunday Gravy San Marzano features an Ecuadoran Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder with Nicaraguan fillers. The limited edition cigar is a 6 x 54 toro and available in boxes of 10 and priced at $4.99 per cigar.
